I’ve just got from a very interesting and inspiring event “Fabric And Wallcovering Trends Autumn 2016″ held by a Lithuanian showroom Retroforma. It represents the very best of English craftsmanship of wall coverings and home fabrics as Zoffany, Harlequin, Cole&Son and others. I am very thankful to the host and showroom owner Lina Kalinauskaite-Forsman for organizing such an event and inviting all the brands’ representatives. Even if this event is small as there are only 20-30 seats available, but it is one of the best events in terms of quality and design in Vilnius.
Usually this event lasts whole day. Every time we are being treated with drinks, sweets, very tasty lunch, and champagne at the end. Who wouldn’t love this?!
I had an overdose of colour, texture and design. But I totally loved the presentation as my credo is bold statement interior that everyone can have.
I was really pleased with a gift I had discovered in my catalogue bag. It’s a phone case made of a great quality fabric sample. I would never think to use fabric sample like this!
I’ll start with my favourite one that was shown at the end of presentation.
Fabric And Wallcovering Trends Autumn 2016: NINA CAMPBELL AUTUMN 2016 COLLECTION
This wallpaper called after Mona Lisa known as Gioconda. I can already imagine a room with some Mid-Century modern furniture and quirky details! It can be used as a statement wall but you can use on all the walls. It can be perfect even for an outstanding hall. It can be used either with monochromatic accents, or you can perfectly use it with bolder fabrics.
