A Modern Renovated Spanish Apartment With Scandinavian Twist

This beautiful modern Spanish style apartment located near Valencia, Spain, with exposed bricks and beams caught my attention. A perfect example of different styles involved to showcase apartment’s authenticity. The owners chose not to do the work by themselves, instead they trusted owner’s brother, who has a design firm Boor Studio, to buy an akward, dark, uninviting space and convert it to a livable, full of light authentic apartment with preserved details.

Everything was done to preserve original bricks and mosaic floors. We can see that furniture has been chosen muted and similar to bricks colour so that the building could stand out.

Although much of the tiles were saved and restored, living room space wasn’t level so they took out the old tiles and put the wood floor. Don’t worry, old tiles are saved and waiting for another project!
Accent piece in this room is Agata LZF light.

Love how darker original wood doors create beautiful contrast with white walls, neutral flooring and black details.
