Alcova - Villa Borsani and Villa Bagatti Valsecchi
Alcova Milano celebrates its seventh edition of cutting-edge design at two iconic venues within the Milan metropolitan area: Villa Bagatti Valsecchi and Villa Borsani. Many design lovers know the modernist gem Villa Borsani. Another breathtaking location to visit is the raw and untouched Villa Bagatti Valsecchi which literally breathes Alcova style – raw floors and peeling walls have 100% Alcova vibe. Raw surroundings let creators dive in completely and rethink the system.
At Villa Bagatti Valsecchi Alcova hosted brands as: Adorno, Bitossi X Objects Of Common Interest, Bufalini, Calico Wallpaper, Cc-tapis,De Marchi Verona, Head – Genève, Geneva University Of Art And Design, Studio Pepe Valenti, Surfacedesign and many more.

Time Traveler by Nilufar
Nilufar has 2 locations – Nilufar Depot and Nilufar Gallery, presents ‘Time Traveler’, a wide-ranging exhibition curated by Nilufar founder Nina Yashar. Nilufar is a journey where each exhibited work acts as a portal to transport viewers from past inspirations to the bold visions of today. Nina is known to curate and mix together vintage pieces together with designer furniture and accessories. On the ground floor the main installation is created by Andrés Reisinger. He unveils ’12 Chairs for Meditation’, an experiential exhibition set on the ground floor. It presents a new collection of chairs and a striking site-specific mosaic accompanied by a bespoke musical piece composed by the artist himself.
Muuto Apartment
Muuto’s Brera Apartment at Milan Design Week 2024 was a celebration of design’s impact on modern living. The kitchen, anchored by the Earnest Extendable Table in solid oak, blended timeless craftsmanship with vibrant Kelly Green walls and Fiber Soft Armchairs, creating a welcoming hub for gathering and connection.
In Room Two, bold colors curated by File Under Pop and rounded designs like the Connect Modular Sofa and Soft Coffee Table transformed the space into an energetic, tactile haven. Every detail, from terrazzo floors to layered textiles, invited conversation and interaction.
Muuto’s vision went beyond showcasing furniture, offering a powerful reminder of how thoughtful design can shape our homes and elevate everyday life.
Rossana Orlandi Gallery
RoCollectible 2024, curated by Rossana Orlandi and her daughter Nicoletta, hosts over 80 global artists. As the hosts say, this exhibition is a “personal” exploration of contemporary design, innovation and craftsmanship, seamlessly merging tradition with cutting-edge technology. This year especially, the exhibition focuses on immersive experience, engaging every sense and fostering connections through captivating narrative works.
“Special emphasis will also be placed on the theme of accessibility: what and how many
interpretations are there to consciously experience an object? We touch, we smell, we listen, we observe”, say the hosts.
Casa dell'architetto at Galleria d’Arte Moderna
At Milan Design Week 2024, Casa dell’Architetto turns the historic Galleria d’Arte Moderna into a living dialogue between past and present. Francesco Rota reimagines these neoclassical rooms as his ideal home, blending the timeless elegance of Italian design with the intimacy of contemporary living. Each space is a study in balance—comfort and simplicity meet functionality and a quiet sophistication, all shaped by Rota’s signature aesthetic. There’s nothing excessive here; instead, a restrained beauty emerges, surprising yet deeply familiar. Amid the grandeur of Villa Reale, the installation feels personal, a reflection of how design can elevate daily life while staying true to its roots.
Artemest "l'Appartamento"
At Milan Design Week 2024, Artemest unveils L’Appartamento, a 1930s Milanese residence transformed into a celebration of Italian craftsmanship and design. Nestled in the heart of the vibrant 5Vie district, the space is reimagined by six renowned international design studios, each bringing their unique perspective to one room. The result is a harmonious clash of styles—a masterclass in blending tradition and innovation.
From the luminous hallway curated by T.ZED Architects to the bold yet refined living area envisioned by Kingston Lafferty Design, every corner tells a story of artistry and collaboration. MONIOMI Design’s terrace captures the essence of outdoor elegance, while Nina Magon’s dining room exudes timeless sophistication. Styled Habitat’s serene bedroom and Anne-Sophie Pailleret’s study and corridor round out this imaginative dialogue between eras and aesthetics.
Filled with bespoke furniture, sculptural lighting, and handcrafted décor from Artemest’s curated artisans, L’Appartamento isn’t just a showcase—it’s a love letter to the enduring beauty of Italian craftsmanship.
Re/Creation by Lasvit at Palazzo Isimbardi
Lasvit takes over Palazzo Isimbardi in the vibrant Porta Venezia Design District with Re/Creation—a bold new installation that transforms glass into pure architecture. Designed by the renowned Maxim Velčovský, this monumental display redefines how we experience glass. Towering, fluid forms invite visitors to appreciate the material’s expressive power, from its transparency and sheen to the intricate mastery behind every curve. Known for pushing the limits of hand-crafted glass, Lasvit captivates the Fuorisalone audience, presenting a striking vision of modern glasswork that fuses tradition with innovation.
Appartamento Spagnolo at Palazzo Castiglioni
During Milan Design Week 2024, Palazzo Castiglioni became the stage for “Appartamento Spagnolo,” a collaborative project by Elle Decor Italia and ICEX. Designed by Frederik De Wachter and Alberto Artesani of DWA Design Studio, the space reimagined the palazzo’s classical structure with a fresh, modern approach. Featuring pieces from 18 Spanish design brands, the installation created a continuous, flowing living environment where tradition and contemporary innovation found a perfect balance.
Designers clearly showed how beautifully raw materials, colours and modern design can blend in perfectly – and this is already becoming future trend.
Unlimited Design Orchestra at Palazzo Litta
At the beautiful Palazzo Litta during 5VIE Design Week 2024, the “Unlimited Design Orchestra” theme harmoniously blended craftsmanship, technology, and human connection. This stunning palazzo set the perfect backdrop for an array of immersive installations, like Sara Ricciardi’s Under the Willow Tree, where the sound of metal chimes resonated through sinuous willow branches, inviting visitors to pause and reflect. Other works, such as Straordinaria by we+ for Elica, brought interactive, colorful elements into the space, celebrating the fluid relationship between design and emotion. This year’s theme highlighted the beauty of sustainable materials, cross-cultural collaboration, and the importance of creating spaces that foster human connection.
